How does one withstand all that is going on in Haiti?

COURAGE. 
It’s quite remarkable the courage these people have —> volunteers, rescue teams, doctors, nurses and journalists — yes, journalists. I commend our journalists for keeping us informed of the situation there; from The New York Times to NBC to CNN.

I specifically want to point out the astonishing coverage by The New York Times — reporting, interactive features, rounding up online sources, etc.

And finally, I commend all of those who are in someway involved in helping with the disaster in Haiti. If I were the rescue team member below, I’d probably have the same expression.
